The peppers enjoying the heat of the last few days.


I will be growing celery every year from here on in. Not only was it easy to start from seed and grow, it is delectable. Grocery store celery is not even comparable. You can start taking outside ribs at anytime, like you would with lettuce, or harvest the whole head at once. Apparently it stores especially well if placed cut side down in a bucket of sand and then stored in a cold room or space. Celery enjoys quite moist soil and has been thriving in the extra rain we have had this summer. 




Sprouts for the chickens. One way to supplement their diet. Extremely easy and cost effective to grow. They love them!
