The lone free-ranger.

Basil I can take indoors when times get tough. Mountain ash berries hanging off the tree in the background.

Everbearing strawberries still going strong.

Strawberries again.

Fall planted peas with our onions.

Again.

I love leeks!

Dwarf Sunflower.

Kale in the cold frame bed. The cold frame will hopefully not be needed to cover these cold weather crops for a few more months.  There is also one lone pea growing here as this was formerly the pea bed in the early spring. After the peas were pulled out I worked in some compost and manure for these new crops.
I will probably have to pull the volunteer pea out due to size unless I can train it to grow up the fence in a way that does not interfere with the remaining crops.

Cold frame bed with the girls in the background.

Cold frame bed contents. Kale, green onions, radishes, spinach, lettuces, beets, swiss chard and rutabagas.

More kale transplants for the garden. They will act as a cover crop after food function.

Green Onions.

Jalapeno Peppers.
