Let's Talk About the Weather.

Yesterday broke the nasty, cold spell we had been experiencing here. The hens hadn't moved too far and we mostly kept their door shut against the brisk wind. They kicked around their house for a few days until yesterday when it was time to get out, explore and stretch their legs. They like seeing the sun as much as you and I. It would seem as if our new hens have started laying. I am yet to catch them in the act. We are getting about 3 eggs a day and some of them are kind of tiny. The bigger girls seem to have fully molted, so it is  possible that the tiny eggs could be from them. We will see!
